Michael Studied geology degrees at Cardiff University and Camborne School of Mines before joining Ramboll as a Graduate Geotechnical Engineer. At Ramboll he gained experience on a range of geotechnical projects from offshore wind to linear infrastructure and building foundations. After gaining five years experience and moving from the London office closer to home in Birmingham Michael achieved chartered geologist status. Increasingly interested in sustainability in his work he became the sustainability champion for the BGA ECG and changed roles to become a Senior Sustainability Manager in the Regenerative Solutions team at Ramboll where he was responsible for all aspects of sustainability on Transport projects. Michael helped to form and now chairs the Ground Forum Sustainability Working Group
